Balm of Dragon's Healing §
Used to quickly and completely heal any wounds, especially
aggravated or in humans. System: short ritual, requires
one blood-point per wound, even aggravated, and takes up to 1
hour to heal. Requires specially prepared silk cord which must
be bathed in natural spring water, plus various routine herbal
preparations.
Blood Cell §
Modern Porphyriac Device of the Obour Bloodline (qv. Porphyria),
which uses the Vis energy of vampiric Vitae to power electrical
machinery. Can be assembled similarly to a wet-cell battery,
using Int+Sci/Porphyria, Diff 7, requiring one hour to build
from appropriate materials. Produces power levels similar to
a car battery, each point of Vitae giving 10 minutes of operation.
Circle of Protection §
Circle used as the basis for many other rituals. Once cast
around a working area, the circle protects the area from psychic,
supernatural and occult intereference. System: A circle
is created either in the caster's mind, or physically. Int+Occult
roll, diff 6 for a physical circle, 8 for mental. (Note: some
Chantries have permanent circles which require a difficulty of
only 4). Number of successes achieved is the additional successes
required to magickally interefere with or penetrate the circle.
This ritual has no effect on physical attacks, but covers use
of disciplines, spheres and etheric assaults.
Mark of the Mistress
A simple ten minute ritual that leaves a mark on the recipient
that any Kindred can see. If the recipient of the Mark is attacked
or harmed in any way, the Mistress knows something happened and
where the recipient is. This ritual was created by a non-Tremere
Thaumaturgist to keep track of her Brood. [The mark can be in
any design, and a minimum of three inches in diameter, usually
seen as very noticeably paler than surrounding skin, anywhere
on the body. It is made by a branded mark on the body of the
Regnant. The mark disappears at the will of the Regnant, or when
she disappears.]
Unearthly Bloom §
15-minute ritual performed on plants causes them to grow at
a tremendous rate when any Vitae (animal, human or kindred) is
sprinkled on them. Growth rate depends on the size and nature
of the plant.
Wheel of Misfortune §
An irritating curse cast upon another, which increases the
risk of mishaps and botches. The 15-minute ritual requires the
foot of a black rabbit, and a length of the subject's hair. The
curse is activated in two ways. Firstly, if the subject sleeps
with it (ie if it is in her coffin or clothing, or bedding) the
curse lasts Int+Occult (diff 6) hours after waking. Otherwise
the foot must be concealed somewhere about her person during
waking hours, and lasts the same time. However if the victim
does not sleep with it and it is discovered and removed, the
curse is broken. This ritual is a good reason why a Kindred should
check their beds before they sleep.
System: after the successes have been counted on every
action roll, the same number of dice are rolled again. Any 1s
count against the successes in the first roll. The ST should
not disclose why this is happening, although an Int+Occ roll
(diff 8) will determine that something weird is happening (if
that wasn't already obvious). The ST might also make this roll
himself and keep it secret, merely explaining the result of the
roll
