Many different calendars have been used during Helevos' long history. Most nations use their own calendar, with years relative to their founding, or dated from some religious or political event. This can make historical analysis rather confusing.

However, for this reason many modern scholars use the Hirerk Moonscale (HM). The Moonscale is an ancient calendar created by the lost civilisation of Miyarrous, and so these days it is seen as a politically neutral choice, not to mention a reliable dating system.
