Location
The northern half of the largest island in the Anrel Isles, including the island of Mûul to the east, and coastal islands.

Climate
Trésard has a temperate maritime climate, cool and wet along the north and east coast, warmer in the south.
Geography
High mountains dominate the entire eastern coast of the island, so that the nation slopes steeply from its heights in the east to the lowlands of the west. The country north of the river Lar, is cooler, wetter and virid-forested. The many mountain rivers flowing westward into the long lake, Ondrere, and thence through fertile farmlands to the sea. The west coast is the most heavily populated, particularly the city of Por Muel at the mouth of the Lar, as is the southerly Trenya Peninsular, with its warm summers, mild winters and rich soil. The central region, in the south of Trésard, is grassland plain, sparsely inhabited, through which runs the border with their southern neighbour Anret.

Government
Hexactic Commonwealth . Tresard considers itself the archetypal model of the Hexactic Kingdom, and is certainly more formal and wealthy than its northern neighbour. The king is powerful, ruling from the royal city of Por Muel, but the Hexact is pre-eminent in law-making, meeting regularly in the city of Béan. The Hexact appoints the monarch, who reigns for life.
Capital
Por Muel is the modern capital, after the regions two greatest cities, Rasia and Teran Muel were destroyed during the Long War. It is the seat of the king and administrative hub, but the Hexact meets in the city of Béan.
Currency
Hexactic Alm . The king also issues golden coins, Crowns , originally for raising war funds. Today they are used for buying and selling property and high-price goods.

History
The emerged as a military alliance of duchies against the rogue city of Oracil, in the far southeast of the island. During the Long War the Duke of Teranard, whose role as military and political leader evolved into the status of Hexactic King, led the alliance.
